Here comes your 19th nervous breakdown

Not really. Just thought it a clever title!

I had a brief hiaitus, but I realize I had a lot going on the past week. Don't ask me what, but it seems as if I were busy every moment of every day. I think the mainstay was the laundry - mind you, there was a ton. I have been going through clothing, anticipating the move, and getting rid of all that I considered unworthy. But, you see, I am the type that washes it all before Goodwill. Weird, I know, but I wouldn't want someone thinking I am a slob. (MAN, it's hard to say that with a straight face. I can't think what's funnier - me caring what others think, or me NOT being a slob!)

The holiday is fast approaching. Lent is soon at an end. I have been embroiled in an endless battle with myself and my fasting. It seems like everytime I would get in a true roll with it, a social obligation or other necessity would arise and I would need to intake. So, the fasting website, of which I am now a member of the Core Group, has a monthly Group Fast starting the first Monday of each month. It's a time for me to start anew.

The above picture was taken a few years ago in our sedum bed. We have 5 different varieties in a narrow strip of earth between our driveway wall and the sidewalk to the back. (I LOVE sedum! And it's going with me, too!)It's the only green, besides the yuccas, on that side of our world.
