He reminded me about "American Pie", which prompted me to think of "For Vincent", both by Don McLean. Any other songs from the 60s or early 70s (other than the girl band, tragic death of a boy, ala "Leader of the Pack" genre), let me know!Yesterday, I worked on cleaning out boxes in the basement and laundry. I forgot how much CRAP can be contained in one 12 x15 rectangle of cardboard. Literally took me HOURS to get through two boxes! The good news is, I found that my favorite Scott Bakula show, Quantum Leap, is still on ION! It's just on at 5:00 now (great news, huh Kathy?). But I am bound and determined that this junk will be gone before the move. Our home is never dirty, just messy with clutter. Well, the 1/2 bath floor in the basement is pretty bad, as is the space behind our furnace in the scary laundry room (it reminds me of the one in Rosemary's Baby).
Speaking of Rosemary's Baby, it was the answer to a Jeopardy! question yesterday. Why can't I be on there? So many times, I am the only one who knows the answer, and that includes the Trivia King, Husband. With my luck, all of the questions that would be on while I was on the show would be ones about mathematics or obscure emperors, rulers, and deities. Or current American pop music, American Idol contestants, Lost or House episodes, and Survivor. Yeah, not a big fan.
